What’s edgy, undeniably it, and spotted all over? Cardi B in her latest ensemble.
In a carousel IG post, Cardi sauntered ferociously in a coordinated ensemble for the grand opening of the Skims’ flagship store in New York City on Thursday. (Also, if you didn’t know, Cardi B is an ambassador for the brand — so this is even more fitting.)
For the look, she went with a leopard-print trench coat that hugged her torso perfectly and fanned out towards the bottom for a truly stunning moment. It has long sleeves with a structured collar, adding to its decadent synergy. Underneath, the “Up” songstress wore a matching body suit that helped showcase her girlish figure while displaying her knack for cohesion and pattern coordination. And under that, she went with fishnet tights for a seamless finish.

But what took this sleek vibe to the next level was her updo that channeled a little of the sexy, bombshell styles of the ‘80s and early ‘90s — but of course, in her way — as only Cardi does. The hairdo sealed the deal on the look and added a nice polish to her appearance. Moreover, the makeup was classic and perfectly complemented her attire.
On the feet, she threw on a pair of leopard print pointed-toe stilettos, which set this moment off the right way. Although we’re unclear on the brand of the heel, we do know that it had a height of three inches or more.
When she’s not serving up a sickening streetwear moment, attending fashion week, or performing, you can catch her posting photos of her wearing avant-garde creations from some of the world’s most heralded luxury designers on Instagram. Recently, went with a fur coat, a white top with a cheeky checkout, baggy jeans, and a pair of the Louis Vuitton x Timberland collab boots (don’t even — they’re sold out) for an outfit that displays even when Cardi is off, her ‘fit is still on — okay.

The New York native is a Grammy-award-winning artist who has collaborated with artists like Megan Thee Stallion (W.A.P.), SZA (Summer Walker, too — No Love) Normani (Wild Side), Bruno Mars (Finesse), GloRilla (Tomorrow 2), and more. But what’s also interesting about the eight-time Billboard Music Award recipient is how she became a prominent figure in the fashion industry for a few years now. She has done campaigns for Reebok, Skims Marc Jacobs, Balenciaga, and many more.
