Fashion is all about collaboration, and SZA’s latest project is sure to capture your eyes — seriously.
The four-time GRAMMY Award-winning songstress teamed up with QUAY Australia, the trendy eyewear brand, to create the exclusive “SZA Edit” or more aptly named “Sides of SZA” collection that features eight unique sunglass styles that capture the dynamic energy of the acclaimed artist. Cheekily, the name of the edit reflects many sides, from her spiritual depth to her playful and glamorous allure.
Some of the styles presented in the collection include TTYL, a Y2K-inspired rimless style with an apricot-tinted lens, and SZA’s personal favorite, ON SET, a studded, oversized, wraparound shade featuring a brush gold frame and gradient lens. Also making an appearance are color pops, oversized frames, and statement designs that help bolster this striking edit collection.
The edit mostly encompasses neutral-colored options that offer plenty of versatility during spring and summer. What’s more, the goal of the edit is to inspire confidence and individual style with on-trend silhouettes for any moment or mood, and it’s a rather timely arrival as fans gear to attend SZA’s summer festival performances.
About the collab, SZA said this edit is about empowering her fans through style. “When I think of QUAY, I think; confident, playful, and stylish,” SZA said. “This edit with QUAY has been an incredible opportunity to partner on. Self-expression is in our nature — I hope fans feel empowered to make their own rules and find styles that resonate with all the different sides of them.”
