Luis de Javier’s latest collab with the social shopping platform emcee is perhaps one of the most innovative projects we’ve seen lately. Any time a brand can create a great marriage between fashion and tech — we’re in!
The latest collection titled “Puta” — is a gender-neutral streetwear line that promotes inclusivity and self-expression, featuring designs that offer wearability and versatility. For example, there is a balaclava hoodie, a shoulder pad tank top, and “Puta” booty shorts that live up to the hype of Luis da Javier’s edgy style. There are billowing trousers that mean business and oversized joggers to wear while not taking yourself too seriously, while a cute, sporty mini dress makes an appearance. The line encompasses 16 pieces, and the launch also includes “The Faguette” bag — this handbag encapsulates the collection’s ethos of empowerment.
Luis de Javier is a Spanish-born, London-based fashion designer celebrated for his
boundary-pushing designs and strong messages of freedom, empowerment, and inclusivity. Also, Emcee is a new shop focusing on emerging designers and luxury brands that helps people discover new products and designers by allowing leading creatives to curate the experience.
“While designing for my celebrity clientele and showcasing my creations on the runway has always been my dream, it’s equally important to me that my brand resonates with a wider, more diverse audience.” Luis de Javier said about the collection. “Emcee’s robust support in marketing and e-commerce positions them as the ideal partner to help me achieve this goal.”
The Luis de Javier “Puta” collection is available to shop now on the emcee app. In addition, prices for the line range from $75 to $395. The partnership will feature four unique collections, set to release in April, June, July, and early September.
