Danai Gurira shows how to bring drama to the 95th Annual Academy Awards.
The “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” star attended the red carpet for the show, where she decided to go sleek in black. For the dress, Gurira went with a black strapless bell-shaped ball gown from Jason Wu that swept the floor gracefully as she sauntered down the carpet. It has a square neckline, accented with ridged edge fabric for a touch of volume.
Perhaps a big talking point for the moment, outside of her alluring beauty, was her tall hairdo that reached for the skies with splendor and grandeur. To achieve this look, it seems that Gurira wrapped and stacked her hair into a bun style and secured it with a white band for a nice pop of color.
As far as accessories go, she donned two bold rings and a diamond-embellished bracelet for an added pop of sparkle.
Although her billowing hemline covered up her shoes, it’s safe to say that Gurira wore a pair of black pumps or peep-toe heels that matched her tastes.
The 95th Annual Academy Awards debuted at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles on March 12. The star-studded night featured appearances from celebs like Mindy Kaling, Questlove, Zoe Saldana, and many more.
