Angela Bassett is here to serve the kids everything they need with her 2023 Oscars look.
The “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” actress sashayed down the red carpet for the show, wearing a creation that made everyone marvel at her royalty. Opting for a purple mermaid gown by Jeremy Scott for Moschino, Bassett looked as though she was floating. The dress had a plunging neckline and a crisscross pattern bodice, thanks to ruching and gathering that added an abstract, sculptural feel, teamed with a majestic train. It also had puffy sleeves, which added whimsy and even more drama to her attire.
Accessories-wise, Bassett decided to go timeless with a Bulgari Serpenti necklace and a diamond bracelet. In her hand was a black spherical clutch that had the diamond-accent treatment also.
Although her shoes weren’t visible, due to her dramatic hemline and train, Bassett tends to go for platform pumps and peep-toe sandals that matches her spectacular red carpet moments, and it’s safe to say that she did the same here.
