JT — or J-Tea as she and her fans affectionately call her — knows how to turn a look, and her latest look proves it!
In an Instagram post the Miami native shared on Tuesday, she traced up and down a hallway while rapping lyrics to a new song from her recently released mixtape, City Cinderella, titled Servin.
For the look, JT opted for an army fatigue-themed ensemble consisting of a mesh top with edgy cutouts — which helped accentuate her body, along with a baggy jumpsuit — which she zipped down and wore as pants with the rest of the suit clinging to her sides. On top of it all, she threw on a billowing short-sleeve jacket that moved with the songstress as she did her thing and showcased her affinity for layering and contrast.
As for accessories, JT selected an iced-out chain — as a City Girl always does — and, of course, she popped on a blinged-out watch and bracelet to up the ante.
Shoes, shoes, shoes! The “Sideways” rapper went with a pair of black boots that added a rugged but cohesive vibe to her rather sleek look. Finally, for the hair, JT looked like the doll she was and went with a slick back ponytail with curled ends for volume and dimension. The beat — smoky, sultry and glittery — is a true JT staple at this point, and it’s chef’s kiss.
The “No Bars” is pioneering her own lane in fashion and music. She recently partnered with Lorvae on a sunglasses capsule, and she also starred in a campaign for Beats by Dre. Oh, also, did we mention that she also got Mowalola to direct her video for “Okay?” JT is a superstar in the making, and we hope she continues to churn out the looks — it’s great to see someone cultivate their aesthetic right in front of our eyes — sickening indeed.
