10 Staple Designer Shoes You Should Add To Your Closet

So, listen, designer shoes. We all love them, and they all make us feel our best when stepping out of our abodes. For me, designer shoes have always been one of my favorite splurges to purchase — besides handbags, of course. (Nonetheless, it’s an easy way to ensure I never take my foot off peoples’ necks, but that’s another topic for another time.) Whether it’s heels or sneakers, designer shoes allow you to stand tall and honor your personal style in luxurious ways.

Seeing that we’re such fans of designer shoes here at Sitch Mag, we wanted to round up ten staple designer shoes that we think are classic and chic — if we do say so ourselves. We took the liberty to find something for every taste and aesthetic. So, without further ado, read on to see which designs made our list.

Christian Louboutin So Kate Patent Pointed-Toe Red Sole Pump

When it comes to designer shoes, few are as iconic as the Christian Louboutin So Kate pump. This shoe has high arches and a sleek, pointed-toe silhouette that will become a staple for any girl looking for a sickening heel.

Gucci Loafer with Horsebit Lug Sole

Loafers are a versatile style that has become even more popular today thanks to the prep and schoolgirl aesthetic running rampant on social media. We love this option from Gucci because it has the classic horsebit adornment the brand is known for, but they’re also demure and classy — so it’s a win-win.

Maison Margiela Replica Sneakers

Perhaps one of the most neutral vibes on the list, this shoe harkens back to the minimal, slightly hipster inferences of the 2010s and beyond. Further, the Maison Margiela Replica sneaker is a simple, classic alternative that pairs well with everything you already own.

Golden Goose Super Star Leather Sneakers

Now, for the flock out there that loves to dirty up their sneakers, the Golden Goose Super Star Sneakers are a godsend for you because they come already dirty — we love that for you! These sneakers come in multiple colors and have the brand’s signature star emblem.

Prada Re-Nylon & Leather Zip Pocket Combat Boots

It’s Prada or nada mama, and the Re-Nylon Zip Pocket Combat Boots should definitely be in your sartorial arsenal. They have clunky, chunky lug soles and have the cutest side zip pocket that can hold your ID, credit card and maybe a lip balm or gloss during a wild night out.

Rick Owens High-Top Sneakers

Firstly, here at Sitch, we love Rick Owens — full stop. There’s something about the elevated yet very durable sneaker styles the brand crafts that exude luxe vibes. Indeed, the High-Top sneaker is a neutral, smooth choice that pairs well with dresses, skirts and jeans — literally anything, honey.

Louis Vuitton LV Trainer Sneaker

Louis Vuitton is known for crafting trendy — and quintessential — handbags that stand the test of time. But did you know they make sporty, edgy sneakers, too? This LV Trainer sneaker should be on your shopping because it’s an elegant trainer that has the brand codes of Louis Vuitton without screaming it — I mean, besides the big LV monogram plastered across the tongue, but you get the point!

Hangisi 90 Green Satin Jewel Buckle Pumps

The way this shoe has become a piece of walking iconography — mostly because of Carrie Bradshaw and her infectious outfits on the hit series Sex and the City — but also because it’s just a clean option. Like, c’mon! The jewel buckle? The sensible heel height? Manolo ate!

Saint Laurent Opyum Sandals

Originally debuting in 2017, the Saint Laurent Opyum Sandal is an essential design for the house, and for good reason. Moreover, it’s sexy as hell — the YSL emblem heels offer support and a touch of glimmer — and the uncomplicated open-toe construction makes it optimal for any occasion.

Balenciaga Runner Sneaker

Certainly, you knew we would include a Balenciaga sneaker — after all, it’s Sitch. We love the Runner Sneaker because it’s so colorful but doesn’t overpower outfits. Also, we love how sporty they look and how adaptable they are.
