Let’s be clear: if there was any doubt that Chlöe was on the path to superstardom, then the first tour stop of her “In Pieces” tour should wake everyone up.
The “Have Mercy” singer shared a video on Instagram today that showed her hitting choreography to her song “Body Do” from her debut album, “In Pieces,” while performing at the Riviera Theatre in Chicago on her debut solo tour.
In the caption, Chlöe thanked her supporters stating, “First night of my headlining tour.. sold tf out!! Thank you, Chicago, for ALL of your love. Detroit, see you tomorrow 😍. It’s going downnnn.”
On stage, while motioning audience members to sing the lyrics—in anticipation for her dance break— Chlöe commanded attention in a black long-sleeve leotard. The flexible piece, adorned with crystal embellishments, had an oval cutout across the chest and a high neckline. The suit beamed and glistened as the stage lighting followed her through the number.
As far as her hair goes, the Atlanta native opted to go with her signature red locs, arranged in a ponytail, that she featured on the tour promo poster as well as the “In Pieces” album cover. The style elevated the look, giving her an edge, and helped amplify her dance moves.
Chlöe finished off her look with a pair of black patent leather ankle boots with a pointed-toe silhouette. The shoes had a slight block heel that added some height while also making sure that she could stay stable while hitting all of her marks.
By now, it’s no secret that Chlöe loves to make bold statements, whether it’s on or off the stage. Known for her provocative lyrics and edgy sartorial choices, Chlöe constantly takes risks. For example, she recently donned a bright marigold-colored gown accented by heavy drapery and mesh paneling for the premiere of her new film “Praise This” last week. And she also wore a black lacy corset teamed with matching underwear for a flirty photoset.
Chlöe is a multi-hyphenated talent that has created a path in music thanks to her group with her sister Halle Bailey, Chloe and Halle, and she has strived to make a name for herself within the fashion industry as well. She has posed in campaigns for brands like Fendi and Saks Fifth Avenue. Chlöe was also a brand ambassador of Garage’s B.DY collection, a line seeking to celebrate and enhance your natural curves.
Chlöe’s anticipated “In Pieces” album is available for purchase now and on streaming services. The album features collabs with artists like Missy Elliott, Chris Brown, and Future.
