Janet Jackson Dynamically Dances in an All-Black Outfit With Combat Boots

Janet Jackson still got it, and her latest post proves it.

The “Feedback” singer shared a video on Instagram Thursday that showcased her rehearsing the song “If” for her upcoming Together Again tour featuring special guest Ludacris. For the outfit, Jackson went with an ode to the ‘90s (coincidentally the same decade the song originally debuted) that featured a monochromatic ensemble consisting of a black short-sleeve t-shirt layered over a long-sleeve top. She then threw on a pair of baggy grayish-black colored jeans that had a slightly oversized feel to them for a vintage yet modern feel.

Accessories-wise, Jackson tied a bandana on her belt loop teamed with a black leather detail adorned with silver accents. She also wore black strappy bracelets for a matching finishing touch.

Finishing off her outfit were black combat boots that came up past her ankles. The shoes had a round-toe silhouette that made it easy for her to dance across the stage.

Finally, the Indiana native’s tresses were black and curly and fluttered in the wind while she sang and danced for a full “Janet” moment if you will.

When it comes to Janet and her sartorial tastes, she tends to gravitate towards clothing that’s functional but stylish. For instance, she recently shared a picture of her and her dancers on the tour while donning a gray denim jumpsuit. But, when the time calls or a more fashion-forward or elegant option, she sashays down red carpets in creations by brands like Thom Browne, Rami Kadi, and more.

Janet Jackson is a multi-hyphenated talent that has sold over 100 million records and starred in films like “Why Did I Get Married?” and “Poetic Justice.” She often sits front row at runway shows for labels like Christian Siriano, Thom Browne, and Versace.
