Beyoncé Puts a New Spin on Old Hollywood Glamour in a Black Sequined Strapless Gown

Beyoncé put a modern touch on Hollywood glamour with her latest look.

The “Break My Soul” singer shared a photoset on Instagram yesterday that showed the musician attending her mother’s, Tina Knowles-Lawson, Wearable Art Gala held at the Waco Theater Center in Los Angeles.

For her attire, Beyoncé went with a strapless black gown that had a white bra top accented with a big silver star on each side and sequins. The dress had a beautiful train that followed the musician adorned with ruffles for a voluminous finish.

In order to up the ante of her fashion-forward moment, she slipped on a pair of pink satin gloves that had gathering at the top for a fun, architectural appearance. Beyoncé also wore slick cat eye shades, dangling diamond earrings and a cylindrical black clutch.

Although her shoes weren’t visible, it’s safe to say that the Houston native went with a pair of high-heeled pumps or sandals that coordinated with her glitzy moment.

When it comes to Beyoncé and her clothing aesthetic, she tends to go for fashionable and cutting-edge designs. For example, she has posted herself wearing edgy dresses, glittery bodysuits and sharp separates.

The “Alien Superstar” singer has a history of breaking music records: she’s the most Grammy-awarded music artist, the highest-grossing Black music act, as well as many more accolades. Beyoncé has also made a name for herself within the fashion industry, starring in campaigns for Tiffany & Co. and her own Ivy Park label.
