Megan Thee Stallion puts the “Hottie” stamp on what it means to be a Valentino pink Barbie girl in a Barbie world.
The “Savage” rapper was the host and musical guest on last night’s episode of Saturday Night Live.
Before performing, Megan Thee Stallion posted a photo on Instagram that showed her wearing a monochromatic hot pink ensemble from Valentino. She wore a boxy button-up that had a nipped waist and a slightly padded physique for a structured piece. Underneath, she donned a pair of short shorts that played with the proportions of her look.
Thee Stallion accessorized with a pair of gold transparent square-shaped shades paired with sizable gold hoops. She also carried a gold chainmail link handbag that added a little texture to her fun and daring look.
Finishing off her pretty-in-pink moment, Thee Stallion opted for a pair of matching leather platform pumps from Valentino that had an almond toe shape and a heel height of approximately five inches.
Barbiecore is a major trend in fashion right now due to Valentino’s Fall/Winter 23 collection. Some of the celebrities who have worn the collection include Zendaya, Dua Lipa, Anne Hathaway, Lizzo and Gwen Stefani.
The Houston native acted in five skits over the course of the show and performed “Anxiety,” “NDA,” and “Plan B” from her latest album, “Traumazine.”
Megan Thee Stallion is a chart-topping rapper with three Grammys to her title and has performed in many countries. She has also made a name for herself within the fashion industry, starring in campaigns for brands like Coach and Mugler.
