Ciara Goes Monochrome in a Black Lace-Up Bodysuit and Knee-High Boots

Ciara turns up the heat in her latest look.

The “1,2 Step” singer shared a video on Instagram yesterday that showed the Atlanta-native posing on a photoshoot set with the slow mix to her hit “Better Thangs” featuring Summer Walker playing.

For the outfit, Ciara threw on an edgy black bodysuit that featured lace-up strings on both sides of the piece. It had a plunging neckline for a modern feel. On top, she wore a matching shiny black jacket draped on her forearms.

And then, Ciara decided to go with a wet-styled hairdo encompassing a choppy bang and a flowy bob silhouette.

Finally, for shoes, the “Promise” singer went with a pair of black pointed-toe knee-high boots. The shoes had a heel height of approximately three inches and tied into her monochromatic ensemble nicely.

Ciara is known for turning heads with her modern and trendy sartorial aesthetic. For example, a scroll on her Instagram feed reveals her wearing intricate tailoring, interesting graphic prints, and slouchy denim that all showcase her affinity for sophistication. Consequently, she often adorns herself in creations from brands like Dundas, Dolce & Gabbana, and Giambattista Valli.

The “Ride” singer has created a lane for herself within the music industry, and she also crafted a lane in fashion. She has starred in campaigns for Roberto Cavalli and Nine West x Kohl’s. Ciara also has her clothing line, Lita by Ciara, that sells stylish clothing for the contemporary woman (think luxurious sweater dresses, varsity jackets, and statement-making trousers). The label is under her umbrella company, The House of LR&C—in partnership with Christine Day and her husband, Russell Wilson. What’s more, the company strives to make fashion more inclusive and create with community in mind.
