Gabrielle Union arrives for 'America's Got Talent' Finals on September 17, 2019 in Hollywood.

Gabrielle Union Stuns in A Striped Elie Saab Gown

Gabrielle Union puts a contemporary spin on a vintage classic color palette, black and white.

The “Deliver Us From Eva” star shared a video on Instagram Thursday that showed her posing in a beautiful spaghetti strap gown. Union wore the creation to the London premiere of her new film, “Strange World.” The dress, crafted by Elie Saab, had a beautiful stripe print that had different size variations of spaces and solids. Although the dress feels current, it still harkens back to a ‘50s glamour of a Pierre Balmain.

Perhaps another main talking point for the night was her dramatic and whimsical braided hairdo. The style consisted of several hoops that created a breathtaking finish that rounded out her semi-vintage look.

Next, jewelry-wise, Union went super minimal with her wedding ring and diamond stud earrings.

Although Union’s shoes weren’t on display, thanks to the sweeping hemline of her dress, it’s safe to say that she went with a pair of pumps or sandals that matched her color scheme.

When it comes to her sartorial tastes, the Nebraska-native tends to gravitate towards sharp tailoring, separates in bold colors, and flowy dresses. Some of her favorite designers include Tibi, Alexandre Vauthier, Zimmermann, and Missoni.

Gabrielle Union is known for her acting career that has created films like “Daddy’s Little Girls,” “Bring It On,” and also “Cheaper by the Dozen.” The NAACP Image Award winner has also made a name for herself in fashion. She has her eponymous collection in collaboration with New York & Company and has starred in campaigns for the line.
